Creative Commons

I understand the concept of using Creative Commonsonline. It’s the more profesional way of using pictures for blogs or anything. If i was the owner of the picture who took it, i would appriciate people who use it to give me credit. I understand though when people who use the pictures don’t give credit to the photographer, most people don’t think of it, I know I don’t all the time or hardly at all. I don’t mind using Creative Commons but it’s just easier to use a search engine, such as Google it’s more sourceful and easier to access. Even though you have the risk of copyrighting photos. That’s where Creative Commons has its advantages.

My First Blogging Experience

I have really enjoyed working with the blogs this first semester in spanish. I think they are helpful. Yes, blogging you must be more descriptive on almost everything you do. I like it, it lets others voice their opinion on my projects and things i have put onto my blog. Yes, Blogging seems to be more beneficial for anyone. Learning how to blog could help your professional life in the future. I would like to use the Voki website more with my blog this next semester I really did enjoy that.

Mi Rutina Diaria.

What We Learned

In this last six weeks we learned reflexive verbs in spanish dealing with peoples daily routines. We used them in sentences along with our newly learned grammar and vocabulary words.

How We Made Our Avatars:

  • We wrote a rough draft of what we wanted our avatars to say.

  • We had to get it checked by our teacher.

  • Our teacher had to show us our mistakes, we had to go correct them and get it checked again.

  • Once it was correct we had to practice saying it aloud.

  • We used our cell phones to call the Voki website and record ourself over the phone.

  • Once it was complete we emailed it to our teacher and our project was complete!

Was it Valuable?

I personally enjoyed the project. It seemed to have a lot of value because us, as students we would be more interested by using the internet over doing worksheets or taking written test. I would much rather do this than a written test, because it gave me a chance to actually hear me repeat and pronounce the words other than only writing them.

Verb Tense Review

In the first semester we reviewed our verb tenses in sentence formation. We went over present progressive, tener que, immediate future, and present tense.  Using www.stixy.com, We made a board writing sentences in spanish in all the verb tenses forms. Tener que is used for the “have to” type of sentences. Immediate future is for the “going to do something” type of sentences. Present progressive tense is used for the “is happening now” form. Present tense is used for verbs.
